Associated Veterinary Specialists, a Bridgeton-based, veterinary company has launched a website to specifically address after-hours and emergency care for animals, according an article on Seattle Pi.

Associated Veterinary Specialists now has a veterinary clinic website that provides information such as a 24-hour telephone number, a map with driving directions, emergency veterinarians and frequently asked questions.

The emergency animal clinic is the sole emergency clinic for pets in the northwest St. Louis County-area.

According to the company's website, AVS is a practice with diagnostic, surgical, dental and internal medicine veterinarians as well as physical rehabilitation and acupuncture services. 

Throughout regular business hours, the facility provides advanced and specialized veterinary care. During after-hours, it focuses on emergent cases of pets.
