Carnahan, Clay Keep Funding Close in Congressional District Race
According to the latest campaign finance reports, Clay has more money on hand, while Carnahan has outspent the incumbent.
According to the campaign finance reports filed through June 30, Carnahan has accumulated a total of more than $1.2 million, while Clay has wracked up more than $550,000.
So far, Carnahan has spent more than $875,000, while Clay has spent a little more than $400,000.

On the flip side, Clay still has on hand more than $420,000, while Carnahan has $366,000.
The two will face off in the Aug. 7 primary.
