Chow Down to Help Ranken Jordan This Weekend

Pediatric specialty hospital Ranken Jordan, located in Maryland Heights, is partnering with One19 North Tapas Wine Bar for a unique fundraiser Sunday and Monday.

Located in the heart of Maryland Heights, pediatric specialty hospital Ranken Jordan will partner with Kirkwood restaurant One19 North Tapas Wine Bar on Sunday and Monday to help children “get from the hospital back home.”

For breakfast and lunch, patrons can dine at the restaurant these two days, and 10 percent of total sales will be donated to the hospital.

“Actually One19 North got in touch with us at one of our recent golf tournaments and said they’d love to help out more in some way,” said Elaine Hickerson, Ranken Jordan Director of Development. “This is the first time we’ve ever partnered with them on an event like this.”

Hickerson said there have not been many restaurant fundraiser events like this in the past unless the restaurant approaches them about an idea.

“We are a small development office, so this is one of the few times we’ve done an event like this,” Hickerson said. “The only other restaurant we’ve partnered with I can remember is Casa Gallardo when it was at Westport Plaza.”

One19 North, appropriately located at 119 North Kirkwood Road, will have an a la carte brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday and dinner from 5-9 p.m. Monday’s options include lunch from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and dinner from 2:30-10 p.m.

“These are my favorite types of fundraisers,” Hickerson said. “You just come up, sit down, and eat for a good cause.”

Patrons do not need a special flyer or entry ticket, as 10 percent of all proceeds are being donated that day from any order. Check out One19 North’s menu here and make reservations in advance by calling 314-821-4119.
