The city will spend $88k for Ameren Missouri to install new street lights.

The Maryland Heights City Council voted unanimously to approve the cost of 79 street light replacements in six subdivisions. A memorandum from City Administrator Mark Levin indicates Ameren Missouri estimated the total cost to replace the lights as $87,347.

The six subdivisions that will receive new lights are Grandview Hills, Pearl City, Pinehurst—North, Pinehurst—South, Smiley Place, and West haven. Levin’s memorandum indicates city staff has also asked Ameren Missouri to repaint many of the existing fiberglass poles; the company would do this at no additional charge.
