Man Wearing Ski Mask Tried To Rob Woman in Parking Lot, Police Say

A man wearing a ski mask and brandishing a handgun demanded money from a woman in a parking lot at 8:40 p.m. on Oct. 24.

Bridgeton Police said the woman showed the man her purse was empty, threw it down and the man left. Officers later arrested a suspect.

Man Fleeing Kohls Shoved Aside Security Guard, Police Say

A St. Louis man shoved a security guard as he fled Kohls department store with stolen clothing, police said.

Police: Cleaning Woman Stole 90-Year-Old's Engagement Ring

A cleaning woman stole a diamond engagement ring from a 90-year-old woman, St. Louis County Police said. 

St. Louis County Police said they found a new employee of a cleaning service, owned by the victim, had stolen and pawned the ring set.

Man Tried to Abduct Children Near Maryland Heights

Police say a man in a white 2008 Town and Country minivan attempted to lure five children into his van by using bags of chips. An 8-year-old girl nearly accepted the offer before her big brother said it wasn't a good idea.
