Window Foils Theft; Woman Charged With Attempted Burglary
St. Louis County Police said Kelly Peirick, 24, of the 3100 block of Duquette Drive in St. Charles, and a man removed a screen from a house window in the 2100 block of Seven Pines Drive in St. Louis County. The unincorporated area is south of Maryland Heights near Creve Coeur Park.
The two planned to open a window, crawl through it and burglarize the home, police said. The window would not open wide enough for them to get through.

Man Stole Car From Sister's Boyfriend, Police Say
Mathew Mantro, 25, of the 100 block of Sunglow Drive in Lake Saint Louis, was charged Oct. 5 with stealing a vehicle.
St. Louis County Police said the victim was leaving his girlfriend’s house Aug. 11 when he discovered his Honda Accord was missing from the driveway in the 1200 block of Magdalena Court. The area is in unincorporated St. Louis County east of Maryland Heights.

Maryland Heights Man Unjured in Two-Car Crash in Cedar Hill
A two-car accident on Graham Road, just east of Cedar Hill Road, in Cedar Hill, left three people with minor to serious injuries Sunday, including a 4-year-old girl who was a passenger in one of the vehicles, according to a crash report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP).
The MSHP reported that a 2011 Hyundai Genesis driven by Bradley Panassow, 43, of Maryland Heights, and a 1986 Ford F150 truck, driven by Linda M. Shaver, 58, of Cedar Hill, were travelling eastbound on Graham Road. Panassow was uninjured according to the MSHP report.
