Dollar General's new Maryland Heights location—situated next to Vago Park in the Maryland Plaza shopping center—looks to be in the final stages. From the Fee Fee Road sidewalk, a yellow Dollar General sign sits in front of the building, with the storefront appearing to be close to ready for business.

A yellow banner saying "Coming Soon!" indicates Maryland Heights will soon get a new retail establishment.

Will you planto shop at the new Dollar General? What products do you hope they will stock? Be sure to let us know in the comments!

right around the corner from my house...YAY! We will probably get cleaning items and storage stuff, mostly. But we shall see! Glad that plaza will be active again!

It's amazing how much more vibrant the shopping center looks with the DG addition—and it's not even open yet! lol

I love Dollar General, I will definitely be shopping. I have tried many of the products and like most of them. I stop at the Dollar General off of Harvester Road when I go to my daughter’s house, but not anymore. I am keeping my tax dollars in Maryland Heights.

Maryland Height needs all the retail stores we can get.

Thanks, Donna! What's your favorite product they sell?

My favorite product is the Dollar General Brand for Tub and Shower cleaner. It takes off the soap scum great. I also like that you can buy Cards (Birthday, etc.) for a $1.00. I have bought everything from towels to food items at the Dollar General.
