Former 'Pujols 5' Changes Name...Again

The former St. Louis Sports Hall of Fame Bar and Grill, once known as Pujols 5, is now going by Patrick's Restaurant and Sports Bar.

The restaurant once named for Albert Pujols is getting another name. The St. Louis Sports Hall of Fame Bar and Grill has changed its name to Patrick's Restaurant and Sports Bar, an email restaurant management sent out indicated.

What are your thoughts on the name? Should they have stayed with St. Louis Sports Hall of Fame Bar and Grill? Or is this new brand a step in the right direction? Tell us in the comments!

The original name of this restaurant was actually Patrick's, so we're hoping all of their original customers and new one's will be excited for their return!

@Emily -- Very cool! Will the menu change at all? Will any classic dishes from the old "Patrick's" days will make a return?

Emily, thanks for the insight! Just curious, how long ago was it called Patrick's? Right before Pujols 5? Also, do we know when the name change will take effect? Either way, I'm looking to going soon to check out the new digs!

I'm pretty sure it was Patrick's up until Pujol's. It had been Patrick's for over twenty years that I know of and probably longer than that.

It was Patrick's when I worked at Westport back in the late 80s.

Definitely more name recognition than St. Louis Sports Hall of Fame. I think it's a good move.
