It's A Better Burger May Open in August
A representative from the restaurant said construction delays have set back the burger joint's opening.
A new restaurant opening in Maryland Heights may make burger lovers’ mouths water with anticipation. Jim Hanifan’s It’s a Better Burger is set to open soon in Maryland Heights.
A representative with the restaurant told Maryland Heights Patch they’ve had some construction delays, but hope to open the restaurant in August. Patch previously reported a “coming soon” sign at the location along Dorsett Road.
The restaurant’s representative said their beef is cooked to order and never frozen. They also use bread baked fresh daily, however he would not say which bakery they plan to use.
It’s a Better Burger has two other locations around St. Louis—one in Chesterfield Valley and another in St. Peters.
Owners selected the Maryland Heights as its newest location because of the businesses and homes in the area. He said it also has good access to Interstate 270.
While owners had hoped to open the restaurant in July, the representative said they’re now looking to open in August.

I hope It's A Better Burger will consider adding a good veggie burger option to their menu. While I'm a vegetarian, my husband is not and he loves a good burger. But with so many other gourmet burger places offering vegetarian options, we probably won't be visiting Better Burger if they don't have one, too.

Thanks for the note, Heather! The restaurant's rep said they've tried a veggie burger in the past, but it wasn't very popular. What would you suggest for an awesome veggie burger?

I've never had It's A Better Burger. What does it compare to? Regardless, looking forward to trying it out!

Ate at Better Burger on Friday night with my husband, Great services, extremely clean, and courteous employees and the hamburger was great too. All they need now is the Bud-Light. (I know they are waiting on their liquor license). I will definitely be back.
