Man Threatened Repeatedly to Kill Woman, Police Say
Bridgeton Police said Karl Edwards' threats caused the woman to fear for her life.

A man faces criminal charges for threatening a woman’s life with repeated phone calls and face-to-face threats.
Karl Edwards, 32, of the 1000 block of Pennsylvania Avenue in University City, was charged Sunday with third-degree assault and harassment.
Bridgeton Police said Edwards pointed a finger at the woman and threatened her at about 2:48 a.m. on Feb. 27 in the 12000 block of Chaparral Drive in Bridgeton, causing her to fear for her safety.
At about 4 p.m. on March 2, police said Edwards began calling the woman repeatedly and threatened to kill her.
Edwards is being held in the St. Louis County Justice Center. Bail was set at $10,000, cash only.
