MoDot to Shut Down Portions of I-70—Find Out When and Where
Repairs to the I-70 bridge over Earth City Expressway and Route 141 will impact traffic on three nights.
The Missouri Department of Transportation will shut down portions of Interstate 70 during the next week in Maryland Heights.
According to MoDot, repairs to the I-70 bridge over Earth City Expressway and Route 141 will impact traffic on three nights. Each night, different ramps to and from Earth City Expressway/Route 141 and I-70 will be closed.
The closures are as follows:
- Monday, September 10: The closure of westbound I-70 exit to Earth City south and the ramp from Earth City south to eastbound I-70.
- Wednesday, September 12: The closure of eastbound I-70 exit to Earth City north and the ramp from Earth City north to westbound I-70.
- Thursday, September 13: Two ramps may be closed if the crews did not complete the work the previous nights. At this time, the specific two ramps for closure is not known. It will be marked that night if needed.
Each closure will begin at 8 p.m. and will reopen by 5 a.m., MoDot says.
