Pattonville Board To Decide First School Day
The Pattonville School Board is set to vote on the first day of school for the 2012-2013 school year.
Pattonville School Board is set to make a critical decision at its meeting tonight that will affect every student in the district: the date school will open for the 2012-2013 school year.
District administrators are proposing August 15 as the school year’s opening date.
The proposed date echoes the 2011-2012 school start date, which was also Aug. 15.
The board is also scheduled to vote on a proposed budget revision reflecting a net decrease in revenue and increase in district expenditures.
A draft of the budget revisions indicates the additional expenditures include three teaching positions not originally factored into the budget, a supply budget increase and capital budget increase due to the first payment on the Apple Lease Purchase agreement as part of the iLearn program.
The Pattonville School Board will meet tonight at 7 p.m.
