Maryland Heights Police caught 77 minors with alcohol over the weekend. They also made several driving while intoxicated arrests and arrested four people for assaulting officers.

Meanwhile, two witnesses chased down a purse snatcher to retrieve a stolen purse, although the snatcher did run off.

Friday, Sept. 23

• Police arrested a man for driving while intoxication on eastbound Highway 364 (Page Avenue) east of Maryland Heights Expressway.
• A stolen iPod was recovered in the 11000 block of Alan Shepard Drive.
• A black Chevrolet Monte Carlo was spray painted, egged and keyed in the 14000 block of Riverport Drive, on a north lot.
• Police issue 55 summonses for minors in possession of alcohol in the 14000 block of Riverport Drive.
• Police issued summons for false identification in the 14000 block of Riverport Drive.
• A male was arrested for trespassing in the 14000 block of Riverport Drive.

Saturday, Sept. 24

• An intoxicated man was arrested for assaulting a police officer in the 900 block of Westport Plaza Drive.
• A woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated on Maryland Heights Expressway at Riverport North.
• A theft from a residence was reported in the 11000 block of Terry Avenue. Police said a suspect has been identified.
• A person left a wallet in a restroom in the 100 block of Westport Plaza Drive. When the owner returned it was gone.
• An iPad was stolen from a vehicle in the 2100 block of Creve Coeur Mill Road. There was no sign of forced entry.
• License plate tabs were stolen from a vehicle in the 12000 block of Dawn Hill Drive.
• A suspect was arrested for assault in the 2700 block of Mars Lane.
• Police issued summons for four minors in possession of alcohol in the 14000 block of Riverport Drive.
• Two witnesses of a purse snatching in the 12000 block of Dorsett Road chased the subject to the Maryland Yards Bar and Grill parking lot, where they stopped the purse snatcher, who returned the purse and then ran off.

Sunday, Sept 25

• A man was arrested for driving while intoxicated on northbound Interstate 270 at Interstate 70.
• A man was arrested for an alleged DWI in the 2300 block of Westport Plaza Drive.
• A woman was arrested for assaulting a law officer in the 300 block of Westport Plaza Drive. 
• Someone punctured the left, rear tire of a vehicle parked in the street in front of a house in the 12000 block of Glenbush Drive. There was an inch-long slash in the sidewall.
• A man was arrested for driving while intoxicated on northbound I-270 south of McKelvey Road.
• A man was arrested for assaulting a law officer in the 2100 block of Gallery Drive.
• Police issued 18 summonses for minors possessing alcohol in the 14000 block of Riverport Drive.
• Police issued two summonses for public urination in the 14000 block of Riverport Drive.
• A credit card was stolen in the 14000 block of Riverport Drive.
• A purse was stolen in the 14000 block of Riverport Drive. 
• A prisoner in the 14000 block of Riverport Drive assaulted an officer during the booking process.
