The votes have been cast and we have a winner in our romantic dinner challenge.

In a race that began close but ended with a bit of a lead, Hendel's Market Cafe in Florissant picked up the most votes to claim the victory. 

Here's how the voting broke down. 

• Il Bel Lago in Creve Coeur received 28 percent of reader's choice with 11 votes.
• Yacovelli's in Florissant received 5 percent of reader's choice with five votes.
• Hendel's Market Cafe in Florissant received 66 percent of reader's choice with 26 votes.
