Thursday morning, a spokesman for St. Louis County Police told Patch that the search for a woman who may have been trying to enter homes in the Seven Pines Subdivision yielded no suspects.

Despite initial concerns over a potential burglary, the spokesman said it wasn't clear whether any criminal activity had taken place.

Original Story

Officers from the St. Louis County Police Department have been searching Wednesday afternoon in the Seven Pines Subdivision near Parkway North High School for a woman who may be trying to enter homes in the area.

They're looking for a woman described as wearing a green jacket and tan shorts who knocked on a front door in the subdivision and might have tried to enter the home.

An officer on the scene says three homes may have been approached by the woman and that they've been looking in the neighborhood since 2:20 p.m. Wednesday.
