It's a simple question: Would you eat at the Syberg's on Dorsett Road?
Maryland Heights Patch has, in the past, asked for readers to review various nearby restaurants. Sometimes, we get a bunch of reviews. Other times, just a few. And occasionally, we'll get nothing.
And we're chalking that up to the fact that sometimes, you don't want to leave an entire review.
So to simplify the process, we're looking for a one word response. Yes or no? Would you eat at the Syberg's on Dorsett Road?
We're hoping the answers will help better inform Maryland Heights residents—and visitors—on where they should be spending their dollars.
Of course, if you leave a lengthy response as to why you chose the way you did, we'll be grateful for the context. But please don't feel like you have to.
Thanks!

No. I've been disappointed too many other times with poorly made food.

I actually just ate there during the football playoffs last week. I was impressed with their selection. Most of it is greasy bar food, which is good with drinks and football. But I ordered a seafood salad and I love that it came in a huge bowl. My friend also only eats fish and she enjoyed the shark chunks. I think the food is OK...cheap...perfect for a bar atmosphere...but definitely not a meal destination.

I like to eat there and used to take my family there. Since it has expanded into almost all bar, it's not quite as nice as it used to be. The last few times I have been there with my family, it was loud and the conversations going on were not appropriate for children. Food is good but the atmosphere has changed.

Yes. Sometimes the food is fantastic and others it is just so-so. It is a very loud atmosphere because of the bar area. I try to avoid eating in when there is a special event of big sporting event going on. I utilize the take-out option when there is a chance of that.

We were just there on Monday for dinner. We dont go there for fancy food, we go for gumbo, sandwiches, salads, wings and steak. Since the renovation, rhe atmosphere does seem different, but not necessarily good or bad... We have been going to the dorsett location as long as its been there, and cant imagine not going back.

My husband and I like to go there for lunch. He likes the Gumbo and Poor Boy Sandwich. I like the wings and salad. We sit in the dinning room section and it is usually nice and quite. Good service also.
