• A woman implying she had a gun robbed a Maryland Heights bank Monday.
• Two men attempted to take a man’s iPhone and ended up dragging the man 100 feet as he hung onto their car when they attempted to get away.
• A Maryland Heights man slammed his girlfriend's head on a counter and then prevented her from leaving to seek help.
• It's a bit early, but Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon's name is being bandied about as part of a Democratic ticket in 2016.
• The Missouri Department of Transportation released photos of the Blanchette Bridge demolition.
• Three Pattonville High School students reached Eagle Scout rank, the highest rank in the Boy Scouts organization.
• Five thousand more commuters used Route 364 to avoid traffic backups as a result of the new lane shift across the Blanchette Bridge.
• Hollywood Casino, just days after it opened in Maryland Heights, was forced to shut its casino floor for two hours because of a computer glitch.
• Patch, and its parent company AOL, sent Hurricane Sandy relief trucks to Long Island and New Jersey.
• Antoine Turner, 18, was charged with stealing from a person and third-degree assault. Austin Phillips, 17, was charged Monday with stealing from a person. The incident occurred on the 1400 block of Glenlea Drive.
