What Are You Doing This Weekend Maryland Heights?

After a week of snow days, you're probably ready to get out.

 

It’s Thursday, and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend.

Maryland Heights Patch is coming to the rescue. We’ve got the best bets for your done-work-outta-here time. Check our picks for the activities to hit and new bars/restaurants/shops to explore.

1.

Where/When: Get the party started at this Wesport Plaza hotspot: Friday, 8 p.m. to midnight and Saturday, 9 p.m. to close

Why Go: As they say at Pujols 5: "Never a Cover. Always a Party." Entrees include meatloaf, steak, burgers salads and -- according to the menu Albert's favorite -- Arroz con Pollo (cilantro rice and slow-cooked chicken) "Homerun Style."

Pricing: Prices vary for beer and cocktails. Menu items range from $7 to $18

Where/When: Same place as above, in case you don't make it Friday or Saturday. Or maybe you're simply looking for a place to hang with sports fans for the year's biggest sporting event. The game starts at 5:30 p.m., so get to Pujols 5 early enough to get a comfy seat.

Why Go: Free buffet at half-time. More than 20 screens to watch the game.

Pricing: Pay for your drinks and anything other than the free buffet.

3. SUPERBOWL AT HOTSHOTS

Where/When: Hotshots in Bridgeton, 4 p.m. to midnight

Why Go: Plenty of screens and drink specials all night.

Pricing: Pizzas are $12 to $13 and there are lots of appetizers to choose from, including butterfly shrimp, chicken wings, and mini-tacos -- all around $6.

Where/When: , 6:15 to 10 p.m. on Saturday.

Why Go: Because you love trivia and want to help raise money to save local farmland and Creve Coeur Park from development. 

Pricing: $25 per person and $160 for a table of eight. Be sure to register online. Call 314-732-5808 for more information.

Where/When: The Missouri Botanical Garden, 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Why Go: Chances are you and your family have been indoors a lot this week. This annual event includes guided walking  tours, exhibits and hands-on activities.

Pricing: Starts at $3 for members, $5 for non-members. Be sure to pre-register online at the Missouri Botanical Garden Web site or by phone: 314--557-5140.
