Kick back and relax this summer at Westport's fun, outdoor events. Every third Thursday of every month, come out to Westport's 'Party in the Plaza.' Gather with family and friends for a night of music and drinks. The party starts at 5 p.m. with live music and entertainment.

The next 'Party in the Plaza' is on June 21, and Westport managers will also hold it on July 19, Aug. 16 and Sept. 20. Live bands include Boom, Spin the Bottle, Griffin & the Gargoyles, Concoction, Slam and Fanfare.

Come out for drink and food specials. Participating restaurants include Bradford’s Pub, Dierdorf & Hart’s, Paul Mineo’s Trattoria, St. Louis Sports Hall of Fame Bar and Grill, Trainwreck Saloon and Westport Pizza Co., sponsored by Bud Light.

Westport also has free Outdoor Blues and Jazz concerts. On Wednesday, May 30 from 6-8 p.m. watch the Charmed and Dangerous perform at the concert tent located near the main fountain. Other talented bands include Charlie B Trio, Acoustik Element Trio, Lenny Frisch Trio, Dawn Turlington Duo and Alvin Jett Trio.

The Blues and Jazz concerts will be held throughout September from 6-8 p.m. For additional Blues and Jazz concert dates visit the Westport website.

Want to see a free movie under the stars? Bring your blankets and chairs and come out to Westport Thursday, June 28 to see the film We Bought A Zoo. The movie begins at 8:30 p.m.
