WHAT: |
As encouraged by the Connecticut Parent-Teacher Association following the tragic school shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary, SSM DePaul Health Center employees and physicians will create paper snowflakes in honor and support for the Newtown families and community. The snowflakes will be displayed throughout the hospital and donated to area schools, including various Pattonville schools. Click here for more details about this national effort. SSM DePaul also will serve as a public drop-off point for anyone wanting to donate paper snowflakes. A box will be located on a table just inside the hospital’s main entrance in the lobby. Snowflakes will be accepted until 8 a.m. Monday, Jan. 7. |
