Kids' Festival at SSM St. Joseph Health Center
St. Charles area children will get their own festival this weekend—and the chance to be a “doctor for a day.” SSM St. Joseph Health Center is hosting a kids’ festival, giving parents the opportunity to tour the new pediatric emergency rooms at the hospital.
Children will be able to dress up like a doctor for the day and have their photo taken in the new pediatric emergency rooms, which will give St. Charles area children fast access to the experts at SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center without crossing the Missouri River.
At the festival, kids will have a chance to meet the infamous “Rally Squirrel” (from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.), get their faces painted, explore a pediatric helicopter and ambulance, and be given free popcorn and sno cones.
