DESCRIPTION:Girls on the Run St. Louis (GOTR-STL) will host a unique film
  festival at the Tivoli Theater on Sept. 20 at 7p.m. featuring nine shor
 t films directed and produced by female filmmakers from around the globe
 . The event &ndash\; called LUNAFEST &ndash\; is part of Girls on the Ru
 n St. Louis&rsquo\; 10th anniversary celebration and is open to the publ
 ic.&nbsp\;\nTickets to the adults-only LUNAFEST are $25 and can be purch
 ased at www.girlsontherunstlouis.org. Proceeds from the event will benef
 it the GOTR-STL Scholarship Fund.&nbsp\; GOTR-STL offers full and partia
 l scholarships to all participants who are unable to afford the program.
  GOTR-STL has never turned a girl away for financial reasons and the org
 anization anticipates distributing more than $290\,000 in scholarships d
 uring the 2012-2013 school year.
