DESCRIPTION:William Shakespeare's words will electrify the city with the 
 third annual Shake 38\, a wildly successful urban event set for May 18-2
 2. This yearʼs Shake-38 has been expanded to a fiveday festival that wi
 ll lead up to the first preview performance of "Othello\," at 8 p.m.\, M
 ay 23 in Shakespeare Glen at Forest Park (Art Hill Drive). The marathon 
 reading/performance of Shakespeare's 38 play canon is limited only by on
 e's imagination. Anyone interested in participating in Shake-38 should c
 ontact shake38@sfstl.com or call 314/531-9800\, ext. 113. There is no li
 mit to how a work may be performed. Shakespeare Festival St. Louis can a
 ssist in helping pair interested individuals and groups with venues if n
 ecessary. The registration deadline is April 15. Shake 38 is made possib
 le with a generous donation from Ken and Nancy Kranzberg.
