Not a professional organization. They do not offer any service you cannot find online for free. They give themselves inflated job titles and have an old binder full of outdated recommendations but no real reason for you to give them money. Stay away.

You may occasionally see on the various job sites (Beyond, Simply Hired, Indeed) a company called Meridian Group hiring Project Managers, General Managers, and other various management and executive positions. They are not hiring anyone for anything. They are a consulting firm. They claim to coach you from your current position to your dream position and other services. I cannot recommend their services to anyone for any reason. Their methods are antiquated. They have a staff of perhaps 7 people yet two have the title of Senior Vice President. Most importantly you don't get what you pay for. If you were paying for the greatest advice available, then it would be worth it. If you were paying for administrative services, perhaps it could be worth it. Basically I put a dollar figure on the worth of the advice I received then a per hour rate on their other support services, and I could never convince myself I made a good decision. You buy a lifetime contract, but they haven't gotten any smarter or changed their methods. They refuse to honor their satisfaction guarantee. Why would I continue to use a product in which I had lost faith? Please research other options if you are in the market for career counseling.
