Officials Cut Ribbon for I-270 and Page Interchange
The project was completed under budget and ahead of schedule.
All the dignitaries were on hand for the opening ribbon cutting of the new Interstate 270 and Page Avenue Interchange on Friday morning. According to MoDOT's press release the improvement “will provide relief to congestion along both northbound 270 and westbound Page/Route 364, as well as better access for drivers to cross the Missouri River.” The $22-million project was completed ahead of schedule and under budget. The revised design placed the new ramp in a circular pattern around the interchange instead of the originally proposed flyover ramp in the middle.
