Cops Bust Man Changing Lanes 'Abruptly' on I-270 For Driving Impaired—His Third Such Offense

A South County man faces his third impaired driving charge since 2003 following a traffic stop near the Interstate 270 and Dorsett Road intersection in Maryland Heights. Josiah W. Williams, 32, of the 9500 block of Fredricksburg Court in South County just south of Crestwood, was charged March 21 with driving while intoxicated as a persistent offender. A Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper pulled Williams over at 11:04 p.m. on June 21 on Interstate 270 after he changed lanes back and forth abruptly without signaling, according to a court document.
