Man Stole Cash Box from Bridgeton Gas Station, Police Say
Bridgeton Police said the man broke into the Phillips 66 gas station at 3 a.m. Aug. 26.
A North County man faces additional charges for a Bridgeton burglary after being sentenced to 10 years in prison for a November 2011 burglary. David Ray Marks, 43, of the 8400 block of Midland Boulevard in Vinita Park, was charged Friday with second-degree burglary and misdemeanor stealing. Bridgeton Police said Marks broke into the Phillips 66 gas station at 13767 St. Charles Rock Road in Bridgeton at about 3 a.m. Aug. 26 and stole a cash box. There was less than $500 in the box. St. Louis County Circuit Court Judge Thomas Prebil sentenced Marks Sept. 21 to 10 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to first-degree burglary, third-degree assault and misdemeanor theft.
