She pauses suddenly, leaping from her perch on the kitchen chair to attend to a crisis down the hall. A cartoon video in the living room has stopped, and three-year-old Taiven needs a bathroom break. In a moment she is back to her craft, simultaneously wielding her glue gun and coaxing her son to eat more of his grilled cheese sandwich. Riannon Mendoza is the epitome of a multi-tasker.
