Maryland Heights is in the midst of a six-month study of ways to improve Dorsett Road with a $500,000 federal grant from St. Louis Great Streets Initiative. What do you think would make Dorsett Road a better roadway?

Developers are working on new plans for a building that could possibly be multiple levels and feature outdoor seating. What would you like to see in this new strip center?
Plans to demolish the former Pasta House restaurant off Dorsett Road are well underway. Now, city officials are deciding what should take its place. If one developer has his way, the space will be used to build a new strip center. But those plans have stalled as the Marylnad Heights Planning and Zoning Commission has twice rejected plans for the project. Michael Zeek, zoning administrator for Maryland Heights, said no vote was taken at Tuesday's planning commission meeting, where Baldridge Properties, LLC, was requesting a rezoning of the plot of land. Zeek said the commission directed the company to consider possible alternatives to the site's plans, including a two-story building with a smaller footprint, a larger patio and outdoor …
