The Missouri Department of Transportation in St. Louis announced it recently received two awards for recycling. One of the awards is for the Route 141 expansion project that runs through Town and Country, Chesterfield, Creve Coeur and Maryland Heights. The coffee company reportedly plans to add at least 1,500 cafes in the U.S. over the next five years.
The Associated Press is reporting Wednesday that the world’s largest coffee company plans to add at least 1,500 cafes in the U.S. over the next five years. The report indicates that Starbucks would have more than 20,000 cafes by 2014, up from its current count of about 18,000. The AP is also reporting the Seattle-based company also plans to move from its current Tazo tea and begin serving Teavana, which it announced it would acquire last month. @Charyl, you are correct. Chesterfield Mall does not currently have a Starbucks, it was closed several years ago when they were contracting. I still find it hard to believe A MALL that does not have a Starbucks! @Bonnie, its not a daily thing for me, but a definite 'treat' when I'm out shopping with friends/family - especially when they have the seasonal specials!
