"The Homework Lady" thinks your kids are working too hard. Dr. Cathy Vatterott of Maryland Heights is an education professor at the University of Missouri-St. Louis and author of Rethinking Homework. She was a middle school teacher and principal before earning her PhD. Now she teaches future generations of middle school teachers how to educate their students best. "One of the courses I teach takes place at Parkway Middle School. We actually have middle school student panels come in so my teaching students can ask them questions," Vatterott said.
