Puppy Dragged Down I-55 Making Slow Recovery in Maryland Heights
The 5-and-a-half-year-old Pit Bull puppy—named Trooper by Humane Society workers—is slowly recovering from being tethered to a truck and dragged down Interstate 55 on Nov. 21. Doctors are optimistic about a full bill of health.
The Pit Bul puppy that suffered extensive injuries after he was tied to a truck and dragged down Interstate 55 is slowly but surely making his recovery. According to the Humane Society of Missouri, Trooper—the name given to the 5-and-a-half-month-old pup—has seen slight improvement thanks to treatment he's received at the Humane Society of Missouri facility in Maryland Heights.
