The woman was playing Missouri Lottery's Club Keno at a lodge in Overland when she won the $57,694 bulls-eye prize.
A house cleaner from Maryland Heights cleaned up on March 2 when she won $57,694 playing the Missouri Lottery’s Club Keno at Overland Moose Lodge in Overland. Donna Richardson, 51, said she was at the lodge helping with a barbecue when she decided to play Club Keno. The second game she played—an 8-spot ticket with the Bulls-Eye—ended up being the big winner. “My eyes aren’t so good. What does that say?” she asked the bartender when checking her second game. Richardson was thrilled the bartender confirmed her ticket was worth thousands. “I will probably get a new vehicle, probably a Jeep,” she said. She also plans to use some of the prize money to take a trip to Mexico. Richardson used her and her boyfriend’s birthdates and ages to pick …

Missouri and 43 other states are considering how to proceed now that the government is looking at an old law in a new way.
It's a fantasy many of us have indulged in: Imaging what we would do if we were to strike it rich overnight with a big lottery win. I'll own up to doing so. I've gone so far as to tell friends and co-workers I would not be one of those folks you read about who continue clocking in a work every day. Not me. If I won the lottery, I'd be traveling the world first class as soon as my lump sum check arrived. No annual payments for me! Problem is, I don't buy lottery tickets. As I purchase my groceries or fill up my tank at the gas station, I just don't think about it. The gift of gaming? So, what if a person could buy lottery tickets online? Would I be more likely to work these purchases into my routine if I could simply log on to a website …

With a recent lottery winner from Maryland Heights claiming their prize, residents are excited about Mega Millions.
Before Christmas, we reported to you that Maryland Heights resident Samuel Gardner won a nice lottery prize. Fast forward to now and everyone is talking about the Mega Millions jackpot, estimated to be at $355 million. That is a lot of dough! I am not usually a lottery player, but I couldn't resist buying a few tickets for the drawing. The saying goes, "you can't win if you don't play," so I am going to press my luck and see what happens. And I'm not the only Maryland Heights resident who is feeling the Mega Millions frenzy. "I play the lottery every week, and this week I bought extra tickets," said K. Hendricks, a Maryland Heights resident. "It would be neat if I could win. It would be a load off of my shoulders." With the economy in …

Midwest Petroleum lucky for customers playing the lottery.
Lots of people hope to become wealthy beyond measure, and for a Maryland Heights man, one scratchers ticket at a Hazelwood gas station helped him do just that. Network engineer Samuel Gardner, 53, purchased the winning lottery ticket at Midwest Petroleum located at 11902 Missouri Bottom Road. Assistant Store Manager Tiffany Akers said the store just has a lucky streak. "This is the second big win we've had," she said. "We've had some smaller ones to hit—we like to think that this is a pretty lucky store." Gardner won on the "$200,000 A Year For Life," a $10 Missouri Lottery scratchers ticket. A telephone call to Gardner went unanswered Thursday morning. Akers said a lot of people win $500 from scratchers at the store, as well as $1,000 …
