Maryland Heights Woman Wins Nearly $60K Playing Keno

The woman was playing Missouri Lottery's Club Keno at a lodge in Overland when she won the $57,694 bulls-eye prize.

A house cleaner from Maryland Heights cleaned up on March 2 when she won $57,694 playing the Missouri Lottery’s Club Keno at Overland Moose Lodge in Overland. Donna Richardson, 51, said she was at the lodge helping with a barbecue when she decided to play Club Keno. The second game she played—an 8-spot ticket with the Bulls-Eye—ended up being the big winner. “My eyes aren’t so good. What does that say?” she asked the bartender when checking her second game. Richardson was thrilled the bartender confirmed her ticket was worth thousands.  “I will probably get a new vehicle, probably a Jeep,” she said.  She also plans to use some of the prize money to take a trip to Mexico. Richardson used her and her boyfriend’s birthdates and ages to pick …

Lucky for Missouri? Changes to Federal Law Pave the Way for Online Lottery Sales

Missouri and 43 other states are considering how to proceed now that the government is looking at an old law in a new way.

I've gone so far as to tell friends and co-workers I would not be one of those folks you read about who continue clocking in a work every day. Not me. Would I be more likely to work these purchases into my routine if I could simply log on to a website …
