SSM to Add Urgent Care Center at Maryland Heights Location

SSM Health Care, which now operates a physician medical office at its Maryland Heights location, is looking to expand and add an urgent care center to its existing facility. The St. Louis-based health-care system is in the process of getting approval for the upgrade from city officals. If Maryland Heights City Council members approve, SSM would add an urgent care center—and signage—to its location at Dorsett Village shopping center at the northwest corner of Dorsett Road and McKelvey Road. SSM officials say the urgent care center would see patients similar to those seen in the current physician's offices, with additional services for minor injuries.
