Shotgun Was Loaded When Seized by Police Near Parkway Schools
Police shared new details Tuesday about the search for a suicidal suspect with a loaded shotgun near Parkway schools Monday evening.
Police now say the 19-year-old Webster Groves man will not face criminal charges after prompting four Parkway schools to go into "lockout" mode Monday evening while police searched nearby woods for the teen. Manchester police tell Patch the shotgun was loaded when it was seized by police after the search Monday night. It was purchased around 3:30 p.m. Monday by the teen at South Side Guns.
