When Is The Chinese New Year? How Can I Celebrate in Maryland Heights?

The Chinese New Year is Sunday, February 10. And to celebrate, the St. Louis County Thornhill Branch Public Library is hosting a Chinese New Year's Eve party.

The Chinese New Year, which is sometimes referred to as the Lunar New Year, begins Sunday, Feb. 10. This year will mark the year of the snake.  This 2013 year of snake is meant for steady progress and attention to detail, according to HanBan.com, a Chinse language portal site.
