Parkway North graduate and Navy SEAL Eric Greitens was just named one of Time Magazine's 100 most influential people in the world in 2013.
Eric Greitens, a 1992 graduate of Parkway North High School is getting more national recognition for the work he has done since his time spent as a Navy SEAL. He's been named one of Time Magazine's 100 most influential people in the world for 2013. "Eric Greitens, one of the most remarkable young men I have ever encountered, founded and runs The Mission Continues, which supports veterans and their families," retired Admiral and former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mike Mullen wrote for the magazine. (Read the Time Magazine article on Eric Greitens.) As previously reported by Patch, Greitens is also a best selling author who has spent time as a motivational speaker. He has also visited local schools speaking with students.

Schnuck says approximately 2.4 million credit and debit cards used at 79 stores may have been compromised. Check out the list of stores and the latest on the security breach investigation.
Monday morning, Schnucks released its list of St. Louis area stores that were impacted by the recent security breach. As a result of that breach, Schnucks customers across the St. Louis area have found fraudulent charges on their debit and cards. The Schnucks stores on the list (which can be found in the PDF portion of this article along with a timeline issued by Schnucks) are located in a number of Patches throughout St. Louis, St. Charles and surrounding counties. Schnuck says approximately 2.4 million credit and debit cards used at 79 may have been compromised between December and March. As I wrap up my almost 24-hour work day, I'm finally able to sit back and think about the fact I survived a tornado on Wednesday. You always look at media coverage and movies where natural disasters happen, and I don't know about you, but I've asked myself time after time: "What would I do if I were in that situation?" First, I would pray to the good Lord above. Second, I would whip out my camera and go into journalist mode. Third, when all the chaos was over, I would ensure my family was OK. When it happens, plans go out the window, kind of like when you deliver a baby. The Maryland Heights gaming establishment had to close for about 8 hours on Saturday night into Sunday morning.
Hollywood Casino reopened its gambling floor Sunday morning after a computer glitch forced guests to leave the premises. "Due to a surveillance system issue state regulations required us to close the casino," a statement read on the casino's Facebook page. "We are working on a resolution and hope to open the Rodeo side of the casino shortly. "We apologize for any inconvenience." On Saturday gamblers had to exit the gambling floor a little past 11 p.m. The casino Facebook page said it is law for patrons to be asked to leave during a security breech. The company posted it was again open for business Sunday morning before 7 a.m. Patrons didn't appear too upset with the loss in gambling time on the Hollywood Casino Facebook page. Michael …
Store Supply Warehouse will join the ranks of other warehouses on Enterprise Way.
Store Supply is set to lease 86,000 square feet of space at 12949 Enterprise Way in Bridgeton. According to CoStarGroup, the company will expand into a minimum of 90,250 square feet at some point. Store Supply is a wholesaler of store fixtures, and small retailer supplies including store display cases, shelving, display racks, shopping bags, boxes and mannequins. The 483,000 sq.ft. warehouse building is the former Crane Manufacturing building.
