According to Ad Age, CBS essentially sold out its ad inventory for Super Bowl XLVII at prices averaging between $3.7 million and $3.8 million. The Super Bowl is slated to begin at 5:30 p.m. on CBS, Channel 4 locally here in St. Louis. Beyonce is scheduled to perform the Super Bowl halftime show with Alicia Keys singing the National Anthem. There are also some St. Louis ties to the Super Bowl.
It's already being called the Harbowl: a Super Bowl clash between San Francisco 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh and Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh. The Harbaughs are the first pair of brothers to work as head coaches in the NFL, and they'll square off for Super Bowl 47 on Feb. 3. This year, Missouri has a few connections to the big game.
