Man Who Fired Shots at Car Three Times Charged, Police Say

Anthony C. Mayer, 25, of the 8900 block of Windom Avenue in Overland, was charged Tuesday with three counts of shooting a firearm at or from a motor vehicle as a persistent offender, a class B felony.

A man who shot a gun from a car at another car at three locations in Bridgeton on New Year's Day is in custody, police say. Anthony C. Witnesses told Bridgeton Police that Mayer shot a handgun from a 1999 Toyota Avalon at another car on Jan. 1 at three locations: Mayer is being held in St. Louis County jail. Man Charged With First-Degree Murder in Bridgeton Shooting

Bridgeton Police said Raymond Hickman arrived on the 4100 block of Stonehart in Bridgeton in a car with other occupants about 10:36 a.m. Friday when a man approached his car, and was shot multiple times.

A Jennings man faces criminal charges in the shooting death of Kareem K. Johnson in Bridgeton Friday morning. Raymond H. Hickman, 25, of the 5600 block of Wilborn in Jennings, was charged Friday with first-degree murder and armed criminal action. Bridgeton Police said in a report that Hickman arrived in the 4100 block of Stonehart in Bridgeton in a car with other occupants about 10:36 a.m. Friday. When Johnson approached the car, Hickman got out, walked around the car and shot him multiple times. Court documents read that Hickman shot and killed Johnson "after deliberation." Man Charged With Flashing Handgun on I-70

Motorists on westbound I-70 in Bridgeton said they were threatened with the weapon July 6.

Car occupants told Bridgeton Police that another driver flashed a handgun at them July 6 as they drove westbound Interstate 70 near Natural Bridge Road. Theotis Thomas, 35, of the 6800 block of Friarwood in Berkely, was charged with unlawful use of a weapon. Bond was set at $7,500.
