Maryland Heights Man Charged with Armed Robbery
Bridgeton Police say a Maryland Heights man and others acting with him forced a man at gunpoint to hand over the items on July 6 in the 4200 block of Gardenview Lane in Bridgeton.
A Maryland Heights man is accused of robbing a man at gunpoint of his marijuana, cash, a check and credit card in Bridgeton. Jeffrey Woods, 20, of the 11100 block of Westport Station Drive in Maryland Heights, was charged Wednesday with first-degree robbery and armed criminal action. The other men have not yet been charged in the incident. Bridgeton Police said Woods and others acting with him forced a man at gunpoint to hand over the items on July 6 in the 4200 block of Gardenview Lane in Bridgeton. Another person threatened the man with the gun, police said. Woods was being held Friday in St. Louis County jail. Bail was set at 50,000.
