Two Maryland Heights men face charges after Maryland Heights Police said they assaulted and took a wallet and cash from a juvenile Saturday in the 1400 block of Glenlea Drive. Antoine Turner, 18, of the 1800 block of Woodhollow Drive in Maryland Heights, was charged Monday with stealing from a person and third-degree assault. Austin Phillips, 17, of the 12500 block of Wissant Lane in Maryland Heights was charged Monday with stealing from a person. Maryland Heights Police said Turner punched the juvenile multiple times in the face. Police said the young person’s face was bruised. The two men then took his wallet, which had $148. Robin Robinson was waiting for his girlfriend at a Bridgeton motel room when he punched the woman in the face several times, pulled the room phone off the wall and broke both of the woman's cell phones, police said.

A man faces criminal charges after police said he beat, choked, robbed and kept his girlfriend from leaving a Bridgeton motel room Wednesday. Robin Robinson, 41, of the 3100 block of California Avenue in South St. Louis, was charged with second-degree robbery, second-degree and third-degree domestic assault and felonius restraint. Bridgeton Police said that when his girlfriend arrived at the motel room about 9:40 p.m. Wednesday, Robinson was waiting for her and punched her in the face several times. He pulled the room phone off the wall and broke both of her cell phones, police said. A former nursing home employee faces criminal charges after police said she struck a resident at the care center. Diann Baker, 56, was charged Friday in St. Louis County Circuit Court with elder abuse. St. Louis County Police said in a report that Baker repeatedly struck the resident at Rosewood Care Center, 11278 Schuetz Road in unincorporated St. Louis County on April 10, 2011.
