Two stray dogs attacked two men walking along a trail in Bridgeton, close to the Missouri River.
An attack by two dogs at the Riverwoods Park and Trail in Bridgeton prompted one officer to pull her gun to shoot one of those dogs, Fox 2 News reports. According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Bridgeton police and St. Louis County Animal Control officers captured two stray dogs that attacked two men walking near a trail in Bridgeton on Monday. And when police arrived, one of the two dogs—a pit bull mix—came charging at an officer and the officer shot the dog, the report says.
